This listing is for 15 Custard Apple - Geffner seeds. Geffner is an Israeli cultivar. These seeds that are harvested from my sugar apple trees in Southern California. The seeds are collected in February 2023. Sugar apple seeds remain viable only for up to 6 months for best result. These seeds need to be planted as soon as possible after you receive them. My fruits are very big, less seeds and sweet, this sugar apple are delicious! The sugar apple tree varies in height from 10-20 feet. In order to grow these seeds, soaking them for 24 hours in water and using the paper towel method to germinate them. You can also plant some of the seeds directly into pots. The seeds take 4-6 weeks to germinate. They also need warm temperatures throughout (mid 70 to mid 80 degrees Fahrenheit). Seed grown trees take around 4-6 years to reach maturity and bear fruit. This fruit tree is tropical to sub-tropical and can withstand some colder temperatures. It can be grown in zone 8 and higher.
